This would be maybe a good starting point for those writing their 3rd essay on migrant workers/immigrants... yes? :)

Because that is how it started in CA witht the DB... and that is sort of how it started here too.... both senarios, orchardists needed workers... was there ever a point where we had too much workers? Either then or now?

It's starting to seem like less and less fruit is getting brought in every year. I wonder what's causing it?

Ya I agree it seems like another DB and also a good start to essay number three there. The orchards need workers. But the problem is that many people dont want to work them.

The main people that work on the fields are immigrants, so there are not enough people for picking because all is getting worse for them. The laws are deporting a lot of them. Also, the border is getting more secured, so the people can’t come to work anymore.

Yeah the majority of the population that do the orchard work are immigrants, but they are being deported, I hear the money is good. $150 a day or something, but I don't know I could be wrong. But people are lazy and don't want to do this type of work, or maybe people depict this type of work for the immigrant population and just don't realize how things have begun to change and now there aren't enough people to get the work done.

This is a good start for essay #3. And yes the orchards need workers, but many people don't want to be picking fruit, I know I never found it fun!
