Today was mixed emotions for alot of us,nervous ,worried, anxious and etc. But reading our essay in front of the class help us some of us get a feel of what will public speech will be all about...

I was nervous but I thought that it was good to read aloud in class :) It was interesting how the way we read our intros & conclusions were different than the way we had them written out in paper. I never really realized that sometimes the way we say it does not match what we actually wrote... haha it was a weird realization!

It was nice getting to read our intros and conclusions, some people had some really nice one's. I'm happy that our essay's are in, I'm anxious to see my score. And yes I see what Kayla is saying, when we read things aloud we add in words or change the way we say things. I noticed that a few people were adding in words that weren't actually in their paper.

I did feel this was a good experience and taught me to read my essays out loud before turning them in because I noticed a quite embarrassing error that could have been easily fixed.

By the way does anyone see my username when I type a comment?

I like how we got the oppurtunity to get bonus poins by reading our intro and conclusion out loud. There were a lot of good intros and conclusions read today :)

Reading out loud gets easier over time I promise. The first time I had to do it I stumbled over most of the words but now its a cake walk.

I didn't like to read my intro and conclusion out loud just because I wasn't confident with them, but it is good to read out loud. and it does get easier over time.
