Interesting day in class... reading a loud was hard for me because even though I had the correct marks, people read it differently than I would have liked or what I thought fit the story... i don't know, it was just interesting how different people interpretated the same story differently... and I felt like I wasn't able to get back as much feedback because no one wanted to say anything a loud cuz they thought it was awkward... still a good exercise...

I found this exercise a little helpful. Sometimes it is not easy to give or receive feedback, but this did help me in adding more detail to the story.

Having to read our essays aloud was hard because there too many people reading all at once but I liked that it helped catch grammer errors and it made it clear on what was missing or what could be added to make the essay more vivid.

I liked today's peer's review. I think that when you listen to other people reading your stories, you find out easily where they get stuck, where there are grammar issues or unclear sentences, so I think it was a productive day. Also, I got comments on how to improve my paper, so I think that is very good.

I think my group was really (too) nice to me today. Maybe an anonymous peer review would be helpful? I think it's hard to be really honest when you have to see them every day in class. That being said, I liked listening to other people read my essay aloud.

I didnt like the fact that we had to read our papers outloud. I found it hard and frustrating also, because they read it differently than I had imagined it would be. Also in my group it felt like they were too scared of hurting my feelings so i didnt get as much feed back as i would if they were to read in and then write on it individually.

No matter the peer-editing exercise I participate in, I never find I get good advice. The narrative was definitely an essay where people didn't want to give true thoughts and advice because they didn't want to hurt the writer's feelings. I found that I did get accurate advice when I was suggesting it myself.

Reading and trying to focus on the story was hard for me. i just ask one of my classmates to lend me borrow his essay and i read it at home and came back with some feedback;)

I liked reading the essays aloud, I feel like more mistakes were caught versus reading them silently. I was able to make changes as people read if I didn't feel things were flowing the way I intended them to.

I like to hear my paper read out loud because they don't correct my paper while reading. They read it as it is and its nice to see the parts that need correcting.
