I cant believe people had to live like that, its so sad knowing that at one point in life people suffered makes me be more appreciative of what I have now.

Its a very cool picture but sad to see people living like that. It would be hard to live that way.

Sad that people lived like this, but it's better than nothing I guess. You're with people who can relate, and I'm sure people were happy in some ways because they weren't alone, they bonded and I'm sure found the good in things. But I also know it had to be extremely difficult especially if people were starving. This is a really cool picture too by the way.

Yes it is sad to see this photo and wonder what it must have been like for these people but remember that in the beginning there was hope of a "fresh" start.

It is sad to look at pictures from history and think about everything the people went through, but at the same time it is cool to learn how the challenges and struggles were overcome.

I honestly thought this only excited around California. This just shows how desperate people were, migrating from Texas and Oklahoma to SEATTLE.
