English 101 Fall 2010 Day 22
1. Grades so far. Check them carefully. It’s not uncommon to miss something.

b. It’s fair and it’s getting you to be disciplined students.
c. Use bonus points to catch up.
2. Bonus points from yesterday or last night?
3. Bonus points for Thursday (1130-1220) and 7pm in the Writing Center.
4. Homework: Chapters 16-17
5. Keep your eye out as you read for second half “Tracking Themes” examples.
6. Hero’s Journey, so far, for Scout, Jem and Atticus. (Is there anyone here who’s participating in the pilot project for portfolios?)
7. A bit of the film if there’s time.

Yesterday's lecture in your 11:30 class was great. I'm looking forward to attending the morning one tomorrow. Truthfully, even if I didn't need the bonus points, I'd go to it. That's how much I enjoyed yesterday's.
Going over what each character's hero's journey is so far helped me a lot because i was confused on what events to use.
Yea i agree especially becasue we have to reallly pay attention on where the heros journey takes place its not as easy to catch as smoke signals..
I'm still undecided about whose Hero's Journey I'm going to use for my paper. But from what we've been discussing in class, I'll probably write about Scout or Atticus. Jem's journey doesn't intrigue me enough.
