Alexie says "we Indians vote for the good of everybody" - that is a very relative term with possibly as many interpretations as there are people. How would he or anyone else know what is good for me unless I told them?
I like his quick wit and ability to defend himself and his race. Colbert likes to challenge people and put them on the spot but I think this video shows Alexie’s canning ability to not only write but shows his intelligence.
