I think that if we look really close to the way of how Steinbeck narrates we can get a lot of tips. For example, he does a very good job while describing his characters, and also he is very good at describing the setting and all what it’s happening around and in the minds of his characters.
I like that he uses dialogs mainly to show that something important is happening, and i like that he is very fluent and articulate in his writing.
Today was a fun day. Creating characters was funny :) Im glad we went over how ma is described cause it helped me get an idea of how to describe my characters in my story.
The graphic organizers that were handed out in class and the character development exercise helped me soo much that I ended up re-writing my entire paper this afternoon... haha sooo not fun but I think it was definitely worth it! Thanks Mr. Peters for un-knowingly preventing me from what would've been a sucky paper! :)
o yes that was such an interesting way to develop a character but i loved it i ended up with some girl named lafanda with a sugar daddy and condoms in her glove box hahah loved it!!!
today's assignment was fun and intersting. Passing the paper around so everyone adds some character to your character it was really funny..
Creating characters was a fun exercise. It's kind of funny how random selections can make a character "crazy".
I really enjoyed the character exercises! It helped me develop my characters and make them rounder instead of flat!
The exersize we did in class was fun, and the stuff we went over in class about creating a character and giving them depth was helpful.
This was a great day when we got to create our own characters. It was fun to hear some people had 30thing year old's in 3rd grade.
