Day 23

English 101 Fall 2010 Day 23

1. Bonus points for Thursday (1130-1220) and 7pm in the Writing Center.

2. Homework: Chapters 18-19

3. Keep your eye out as you read for second half “Tracking Themes” examples.

4. In six groups
a. Three illustrated panels that tell the story of the chapter.
b. A significant quote from the chapter—re: Hero’s Journey, if possible.
c. A title for the chapter.

Class was fun today! I really liked the idea of drawing pictures on what was the main thing that happened in the chapters!it was a fun learning experience.. :)

Oh my gosh! I absolutely loved today! It was fun and is a creative and good way to remember the important events in each chapter. I think it's an effective and entertaining way of doing class....especially for those who aren't artistically challenged, and the poetry reading was absolutely amazing!

Going over the chapters in class helped me understand them a little better and the drawing part was very helpful.

I agree with my classmates. drawing the scenes of important events was a good way to review what we have been reading and it also added some humor which is never a bad thing in my opinion.

Hahah funn day!! A good way to really remember parts of the book!! However, sucks for the people who are artistically challenged!! lol ((cough my group cough!!))
