This type of thing happens a lot in professional sports. I've seen this many time at mountain bike and motorcycle races where guys and girls try to showboat on the last jump or wheelie down the final straight stretch and lose control. wheelies and jumps don't make you any faster on the track neither does chrome
i've done this alot where im just like screw it its the last week or last day and never worked out for me so i've learned to work till the end. or till the clock stops
All of these clips remind me when I was a little girl and the family got a race horse ticket, similar to the lottery. If your horse won, you won the amount on the ticket. Growing up we were super poor--so the winning horse would have been great! Our horse was ahead by a 1/2 lap--sure to win. So as children, we called for our father to come see that we had the winning horse. Just as my father reached the door and our horse was winnning by a long shot. Another horse came from nowhere it was so close that the announcer said the other horse only won by a head, his nose crossed the finish line inches before our horse did. As hopeful children we were crushed to say the least.
